Sat 7 July from 2-4 pm
Bring in your broken computers, laptops, printers, modems, monitors between 2 and 4 pm on Saturday 7 July for recycling.
The e-waste will be collected by community group E-waste Connection. They are a social enterprise here in the western suburbs that recycles electronic waste as a way to give special-needs kids work skills, friendship and a way to contribute to the community.
It’s a win for the planet and for our community.
Yes, of course you can recycle your electronic waste at the Council recycle centres, but none of them are particularly convenient to Indooroopilly, so we organised this special recycle day where you can drop off your e-waste locally for it to be taken apart and recycled.
English Conversation Classes are on each Thursday from 1:30-2:30pm and 4-5pm during school terms.
The free classes are to help people improve their conversational English, be a part of the local community, and feel at home here in Brisbane.
For more information, contact Brigid Limerick, firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the church on 07 3878 9535.
No experience needed for this new creative study group. The group meets on Tuesdays at 1 pm to explore the Gospel of Mark – one of four biographies of Jesus’ Life.
All are welcome.
